How Stirling started
Stirling Tax & Accounting came from seeing the same thing over and over again — people being left to figure things out on their own.
Either they felt too small to ask for help, or they only heard from their accountant at tax time when nothing could really be changed.
That never felt right.
So we built something that works a bit differently — where you can actually ask questions, understand what’s going on, and make better decisions as you go.
That’s still how we work today.
Matthew works across both accounting and mortgage broking, which means he’s often helping clients look at the bigger picture — not just one piece of it.
Most of his work is with individuals and small business owners, talking through decisions, answering questions, and helping things make a bit more sense.
He’s not big on overcomplicating things — just clear advice and being someone you can actually reach out to when something comes up.
Outside of work, there’s a strong appreciation for cycling, home baking and anything carb-related.

Breeana is our practice manager — and honestly, the one who keeps everything together.
She’s been here from the early days and is across pretty much everything that goes on behind the scenes, making sure things run smoothly and nothing gets missed.

She’s organised, switched on, and a big reason the business runs the way it does.
Outside of work, she’s a busy mum to Caleb, and usually either planning the next camping trip or getting stuck into a good book.
